	Climate, Weather, Season

	The city of Chiang Mai is situated in the Mae Ping River valley, surrounded by the foothills of the Himalayas. The climate is tropical with three distinct seasons timed by the monsoon: Hot season from March till May The rainy season from June till October The cool season from November till February A light breeze during the day and cool nights make the climate in Chiang Mai pleasant throughout the year.
